I apologize for not posting yesterday I’ve had a very busy few days.
Today I graduated from college. It feels good to have accomplished so much but like closing any chapter there is a sense of sadness that comes along with it all.
To me the hardest part was moving out of our home. Apartment five has been me and Tyler’s home and even though we have been living in other places, this was the first place that was just ours.
We got engaged in that apartment, it is were we found Tonks, it was our first home as husband and wife, this one apartment is filled with so many memories it is hard to say good bye.
So heres to you apartment 5, you will always have a very special place in my heart.
Love you all,
Today I want to talk to everyone about mindfulness! This is a post that my mother-in-law suggested but I didn’t know much about! After looking into mindfulness I realize it is the perfect topic for today!
So what is mindfulness? It is basically being aware of what’s happening the external and internal factors of life! It’s becoming aware of our thoughts feelings and experiences!
How can you practice mindfulness? Just make an effort of being present and aware. Some people choose to do this through meditation. Some people choose to do this through photography or Journaling; while others just set aside some time to absorb, realize and be mindful!
I hope you all take some time to be mindful and recognize these things that we so often over look in life!
Love you all,
Happy Thursday! Where I am from it just turned Thursday! So I apologize that my post is at an odd time!
I just wanted to write a quick post about something exciting me and Tyler decided to collaborate on!
Its called Inspiring Each Other!
We will be opening a second blog which will deal with our life as a couple what we are up to what we like to do all things us! We will also be given relationship advice quite often so make sure you check it out!
We will have an Instagram account to go along with it that we will update quite often!
We are taking a trip to the cape this weekend for a memorial service for a family member of Tyler’s! Make sure you check in on both the Instagram and blog for updates!
We Love you all,
Michelle & Tyler
I still feel horrible but at least I’m able to write to you all today!
Today I want to talk to you all about hard work and dedication!
A few days ago I got a call from my cousin Kelsey! She called to tell me she had passed two of her three teaching tests! Only one more test to take in a few weeks!
Kelsey has always been driven and dedicated! And it’s so nice to see her succeeding and all her hard work finally coming back to her!
Kelsey is going to be a fantastic teacher and he kids that she will teach will be blessed with all she can teach them!
I just wanted to say another congratulations to Kelsey! I love you and I couldn’t be more proud of you!
To all of you I hope that this story can help you all realize that all the time and effort you put into your dreams will come back and reward you!
Love you all,
Well the plague finally hit me!!!! I have a horrible immune system and typically get sick multiple times a winter but this year I did good!
Minimum colds, only one case of strep throat, it was a good winter!
Apparently, this is because my body wanted to save it all up for one big sick party!
Sick days can be rough for everyone, you don’t feel good, your miserable and it seems like the world is working against you!
My best advice for sick days is tea, ice cream, and Netflix! All three of these things make one great cure! Maybe not for physical illness but definitely for the blues it causes!
Make sure you get to the dr if you are sick to make sure that it’s nothing serious! But once you get cleared from your doctor it’s my professional recommendation to be lazy!
Love you all,
Today I want to talk to you all about staying optimistic!
As you all now I am a self proclaimed optimist! I try to stay positive and look on the bright side of everything!
I personally believe this is a great quality because it allows me to keep cool and keep smiling!
Today my husband and I are celebrating an early Easter because it is another holiday he has to work! As a newlywed all I want to do is spend the holidays with my husband but I know we have bills to pay and responsibility!
I look at the bright side and think about how lucky we are for our health and our love! So we celebrate Easter the day before! I am still a very lucky woman!
Mr & Mrs Trites and Mr & Mrs Bunny
So it’s back to reality for me and Tyler today! He went to work first thing this morning and I went grocery shopping.
It’s 40 degrees were we live which is a big change from the 90 degrees we were getting used to!
But anyway today I want to talk to you all about life changes! (If you don’t get my title it’s a song from the 80’s) Change can be a hard thing to accept! But it’s always going to happen!
If life stayed the same everyday it would be so boring! I understand that not all changes are good and can be very hard to come to terms with like loosing a loved one or a break up but in these situations it’s good to remember the good times! It’s amazing what time can heal you just need to make an effort to focus on the good things!
Other changes may just seem bad because it’s different! But these changes can be good! Just stay positive and make the best of these new adventures!
Change is a scary thing but sometimes it’s a great thing!
Love you all,
I hope you enjoyed your weekend!
As many of you know I will be leaving for Disney tomorrow!
So today I want to talk to you all about anticipation! Sometimes life seems to be waiting for a different moment! You can’t wait for a vacation, graduation, your wedding, or whatever exciting thing you are looking forward to!
But what about the moments we are living now! I am a firm believer that we should make the best out of all life’s adventures so don’t just sit back and wait for your next big adventure enjoy all of the little ones on the way!
And when you finally get to a big adventure make the best of it and take time to sit back and just absorb a memory!
A lifetime is filled with so much happiness and magic! Sometimes we need to just step back and enjoy these moments… Before they become just happy memories!
Don’t ever forget that the best thing about memories is making them!
I love you all,
I hope you’re all doing well! In preparation for our honeymoon trip to Disney, we’re packing our carry-ons! Michelle did hers already, and she asked me if I wanted to do mine so I thought I would!
I travel a bit lighter than Michelle in most cases, but there are still some essentials that I need to take on the plane with me (In my lovely Marvel backpack).
First, I have my book to keep me entertained while on the plane. This is an absolute essential because more often than not you can find me reading! Currently, I’m reading Battle for Honor: Rebirth. I’ll recommend this to anyone who has a taste for fantasy books, it’s extremely well written and one of my favorite books so far!
Along with my book, I have my electronics. I have a phone charger because I never know when I’m going to need to charge my phone. I also have my Disney wristband so I don’t have to carry a credit card or anything else with me in the park. I’ve always liked this because i have a terrible habit of leaving things somewhere and forgetting where I leave them. I also have my Apple headphones for music, and just in case I don’t have an outlet to charge my phone I have my portable charger made by DYNEX! This thing works awesome and has saved my butt more times than i can count when I’m traveling for for work.
I have my sunglasses By Kreed so I’m not blinded by the sun, and some tissues Star Wars just in case!
But that’s what’s in my carry-on! Like I said, I don’t usually need much = but these are what I consider essential when traveling!
I have 5 days until I leave for Disney! As you might be able to tell I am so excited to be starting this adventure. Not only is this our spring break trip but our honeymoon! We went on a weekend trip to Connecticut right after our wedding so that we could save the money and find a time to go to Disney.
Well now it is less then a week away and am getting all gitty just thinking about the morning we leave!
Today I packed my carry on filled with all the things I will try to entertain myself with. So here is what is in my Darth Vader carry on:
- My hot pink HP laptop (so I can keep up with all of you)
- Yes cucumber face wipes (always need to refresh after a day of travel)
- My Vera Bradley wallet (it is the perfect size to keep everything you need for travel)
- A mini hair brush by precision beauty (great quality and perfect size)
- My notebook and calendar book (work on ideas for the blog, of course!)
- A new pair of Skullcandy headphones (the only headphones I use)
- My favorite YBF lipstick (Check them out, I love the shade pumpkin spice)
- Star Wars tissues (to go with my Vader bag, of course)
- Iphone charger (can’t travel with out power)
- A fun pair of sunglasses (designed by Merona)
- The book A night in with Audrey Hepburn by Lucy Holliday ( loving it so far, book review after the vacation)
- Of course my Disney Magic Band so we can jump straight to the magic when we land in Orlando
Love you all,
