Smile Brilliant! Whitening My Teeth At Home

Whitening Teeth At Home

Hello Everyone,

I hope you all enjoyed your holidays! Since it’s a new year I decided to take charge of one thing that always seems to bother me, my yellow teeth. Most of you who follow my blog and Instagram know that I struggle with a tea and coffee addiction, leaving me with stained teeth that just don’t look great in pictures.

I have partnered with Smile Brilliant to improve my own teeth and tell you all about their amazing product! Smile Brilliant is a home teeth whitening system that is designed to give you those perfect white teeth I thought was only possible by spending thousands and spending hours at the dentist.

To start the whitening process with Smile Brilliant you first need to use the teeth whitening trays kit to take molds of your own teeth. This sounds scary but it was actually super simple and the whitening trays you receive really do make a huge difference. Check out this article on the benefits of custom-fitted trays.

Once you create the molds of your teeth you simply send them back to Smile Brilliant and before you know it your personal whitening trays show up at your doorstep! The trays you receive are soft and flexible, making the whole whitening process comfortable.

One thing about teeth whitening I get very nervous about is causing tooth sensitivity, well with smile brilliant there will be none of that! Along with the whitening gel syringes you will also receive a few syringes of desensitizing gel. By filling the trays with this gel and leaving it on for 15-20 minutes I never experienced a sensitivity problem!

Over the past week I have been hard to work on my teeth whitening, one hour each night! I am very happy with my results and recommend Smile Brilliant to anyone looking to brighten their smile! Here are my before and after photos!

I plan on continuing to whiten my teeth for the next few weeks I will be posting updates on my Instagram! Remember to follow me to stay up to date on my progress.

I am going to link this YouTube video that will help demonstrate Smile Brilliant.

Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have on Smile Brilliant, if you decide to try it, I will include the link to Smile Brilliant, don’t forget to let me know about your experience!

Bella’s Illness

image1-1This will be our third Christmas with Bella, every year she gets excited and uses her nose to sniff out all her treats wrapped under the tree. When we rescued two-year-old Bella from the MSPCA she was a little ball of energy. There were signs that she had been abused in her previous home so it took her a few months to feel safe and realize all image1we wanted to do was love her.
We wanted to give Bella the best most loving forever home we possibly could. We wanted her to feel safe and secure, loved, and wanted. Bella went multiple times a week to run with her friends at doggy daycare or as we called it school, she knew the days she wanted to go see her friends because she would bark and follow you around the entire time you were getting ready for work. Bella loves to watch the voice and lay in front of her fake fireplace.capture
We know that Bella didn’t have the easiest life in her previous home. When we adopted her we wanted to give her the best possible life we could give her. She is a sweet and lovingcapture7 Bulldog that wins over the hearts of anyone who has the pleasure of knowing her.

Recently Bella had started whimpering and crying out in pain. It has taken multiple Vets several weeks and many tests before they finally found what is causing Bella’s pain. capture4Through an MRI administered by a Neurologist they have been able to diagnose her with Inflammatory Brain Disease, this is a brain disease which is causing her severe pain; as well as, seizures and vertigo. As her family we want to give her every chance she has to live a full and happy life especially since Bella is only five years old. Vets have recommended a series of chemo treatments, steroids, and pain medicine to keep her comfortable.

capture5This makes me so sad not just because she’s my pup but because  She deserves to be happy and healthy!!!! We are blessed to have her grace our home with her spunk and personality.

Cativersary

One year ago today Tyler and I found our little Kitty outside of our apartment complex! She was cold and hungry but so loving and kind!

She lived with us two days before we finally decided on her name! She took to us very fast and it was a relief when the vets gave her a clean bill of health!

She won the hearts of our friends and family, and before you knew it the lonely little kitty had the love of so many people!

People may say I am crazy for taking Tonks on walks in a stroller or for driving around with her in her car seat! But she has become like my child, we are there for each other, partners in crime!

So go ahead tell me I am crazy because I probably am! But over the last year Tonks has been with us through: planning a wedding, getting married, graduating college, holidays, and moving twice! That is a lot of bonding!

So here is to the last year, and to many more with my furry friend! We love you Tonks, you will always have a forever home with us!

Dress sizes can’t define, don’t let the world decide what’s beautiful

Hello Everyone,

I want to thank you all for the overwhelming amount of E-mails I received after my last post! They were all filled with kindness and love; I really have missed you all!!

Today I am writing to you all because of one email I got in particular! I received a very emotional and heartfelt letter from a high school sophomore.

She told me that she has always been struggling with her weight but has always considered herself to be beautiful! Until high school when people began to pick on her because of her size. She goes on to tell me that these girls have not only been embarrassing her but also have started to change how she sees herself and views her own body.

While reading this Email, I was almost in tears; no one should feel this way about themselves, and when these feelings are caused by the cruelty and ignorance of others, it is just so sad and it breaks my heart!

Now I can say that you shouldn’t listen to the cruel words of others, and only you can define how you feel about yourself, but in reality, this is almost impossible to do! Our peers play such a big part in our everyday life that it is so hard to ignore their opinions.

The best advice I can give someone in this position is to be strong, understand that you are beautiful and understand that there is a cruelty in this world that is not fair. Be the bigger person and don’t forget to put yourself first! Love yourself, know your worth and beauty, and truly love yourselves!

Love you all,

Michelle

Hello World

Hello Everyone,

I must apologize for my extended absence! I must say I have been a very busy girl, most recently I have started grad school!

I was offered a full assistantship! Allowing me to go to school as well as get a great experience of working as a Teaching Assistant, enabling me to teach classes, and do some real world hands on research!

I just finished my first week, and so far I have no complaints, it is so nice being back to school.

Me and Tyler also through a celebration of our marriage, a second reception! As many of you know our wedding ceremony was planned ver quickly and even though it was fantastic it was very nice to have a bigger party that all our friends and family could attend!

It’s been a crazy and fun summer!

I am hoping to get back to you all more regularly; I am going to make an honest effort! I miss all of my web friends! Let me know if there is anything you want me to touch upon in the next few days!

Talk to you all soon!

Lots of love,

Michelle

Waiting On Love

Hello Everyone,
Happy Monday! The start of yet another week!
As many of you know Tyler and I just passed the three month mark of our marriage last Friday! Many of you wrote to wish us a Happy Anniversary which was so thoughtful especially since I hadn’t even posted about it! You all are awesome!
But anyway I wanted to write to you all today about waiting for Mr. right and refusing to settle for anyone but him!
Every girl dreams of their fairy tale coming true and the day they walk down the aisle to their Prince Charming! Having done this a few months ago believe me when I say it truly will be the happiest moment of your life.
But this magical moment would certainly not be magical if the wrong person is standing at the end of the aisle! I know how lucky I am to have found my other half, people spend a lifetime looking for their person and I was lucky to find him at such a young age!
I had dated my fair amount of men before I met Tyler and although many of them were kind and will make great husbands one day, I know the only person who can truly make me this happy is Tyler.
Many of you write into me for dating advice or to tell me about that special someone! And that is amazing, everyone deserves someone who makes them feel unconditionally loved but don’t force these feelings or rush through enjoying a relationship! When you find Mr. Right you will know it, something will just, click and you will look at this person and know you will spend forever with them!
Like I said I know how lucky I am to have found Tyler so young but believe me when I say these feelings are worth waiting a lifetime for. You all deserve that unconditional love of the right person so don’t settle, and don’t force it. He is out there and he is worth the wait!
Love you all
Michelle

Hard Work & Dedication

Hello everyone!

Happy Sunday!

I still feel horrible but at least I’m able to write to you all today!

Today I want to talk to you all about hard work and dedication!

A few days ago I got a call from my cousin Kelsey! She called to tell me she had passed two of her three teaching tests! Only one more test to take in a few weeks!

Kelsey has always been driven and dedicated! And it’s so nice to see her succeeding and all her hard work finally coming back to her!

Kelsey is going to be a fantastic teacher and he kids that she will teach will be blessed with all she can teach them!

I just wanted to say another congratulations to Kelsey! I love you and I couldn’t be more proud of you!

To all of you I hope that this story can help you all realize that all the time and effort you put into your dreams will come back and reward you!

Love you all,

Michelle

Have Courage And Be Kind

Hello Everyone!
Happy Tuesday!
Today I want to talk to you about the recipe for a fufilling life!
Courage and Kindness!
Yesterday, I was watching the new Cinderella movie and at the tear-jerking scene when her mother dies telling Ella that she must remember to have courage and be kind!

This got me thinking about how true this actually is!
Kindness: To me is one of the most important characteristics a person can have! You must treat others with kindness, since we are all put on this planet together life gets hard on its own and we never truly know what others are going through! You may never know how much a kind smile or act can mean to another person!
Courage: We all need a little bit of courage! We need to not fear the world and taking chances! So many people fear taking chances and following dreams. If you live in fear of these things you will never experience life the way it’s meant to be experienced! People need adventure and change! Our lives can’t be a constant or we’ll get bored and no one wants a life of boredom!

I love you all and hope that you realize that kindness and courage are important to live a life full of happiness

Love you all,

Michelle

Becoming YOU

Hello Everyone,Happy Tuesday! Today I want to talk to you all about becoming you!

We experience so much in a lifetime! So much hurt, so much joy, and everything in between! It would be so easy to say that we wish we could eliminate all the bad and get rid of all the metaphoric bruises but so much of ourselves is made up of the good and bad experiences.

Everyone has heard the phrase everything happens for a reason or what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger… both are absolutely correct!

Think about how certain experiences have changed your view on the world! How maybe an accident makes you think twice when taking a right on red or how a bad date made you hate a particular movie or restaurant! All these little things have shaped you and guide you day by day through life!

Maybe you once were a very trusting person but experienced pain from putting your trust in the wrong person. You may think twice before your next leap of trust but maybe this change will perfect your future!

We become who we are through a life time of experiences! You may be a completely different person today then you were a year ago and this may not be a bad thing!

We need to embrace our mistakes and experiences and allow them to effect us but never stop us! You are in charge of your own life, learn but never be afraid to live!

These things make you you… so don’t wish away the past!

Love you all,

Michelle

Ch-ch-changes

Hello Everyone!
So it’s back to reality for me and Tyler today! He went to work first thing this morning and I went grocery shopping.
It’s 40 degrees were we live which is a big change from the 90 degrees we were getting used to!
But anyway today I want to talk to you all about life changes! (If you don’t get my title it’s a song from the 80’s) Change can be a hard thing to accept! But it’s always going to happen!
If life stayed the same everyday it would be so boring! I understand that not all changes are good and can be very hard to come to terms with like loosing a loved one or a break up but in these situations it’s good to remember the good times! It’s amazing what time can heal you just need to make an effort to focus on the good things!
Other changes may just seem bad because it’s different! But these changes can be good! Just stay positive and make the best of these new adventures!
Change is a scary thing but sometimes it’s a great thing!
Love you all,
Michelle
