Happy Monday, I know Mondays are typically nothing to be excited but I still hope you all had a great day!
It’s almost Thanksgiving here in America and you we can officially let the Holiday season begin! Just like most of the world, The holidays are always my favorite time of the year. The magic is everywhere people literally sing in the streets!
The best part about this time of the year is that you get to spend it with family and friends and the people who mean the most to you!
To me, Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because you get to express your love and thankfulness for each other! Its a time to reflect on the year and think about who and what you are thankful for. It’s not all about Turkey even though who could resist that much food!
Usually, I would post something like this on the actual holiday but for me, it was one of those Mondays I needed a little bit of optimism and thoughtfulness! Since this post is early I hope you all take the next few days to think about who and what you are thankful for!
I am thankful for every single one of my followers and readers, not only do I feel your love and support on a daily basis but you have become such good friends! Regardless of if we have ever met or ever will meet you all have become a huge part of my life! I wish you all a happy and healthy Thanksgiving!
One year ago today Tyler and I found our little Kitty outside of our apartment complex! She was cold and hungry but so loving and kind!
First Photo With Tonks
She lived with us two days before we finally decided on her name! She took to us very fast and it was a relief when the vets gave her a clean bill of health!
She won the hearts of our friends and family, and before you knew it the lonely little kitty had the love of so many people!
People may say I am crazy for taking Tonks on walks in a stroller or for driving around with her in her car seat! But she has become like my child, we are there for each other, partners in crime!
So go ahead tell me I am crazy because I probably am! But over the last year Tonks has been with us through: planning a wedding, getting married, graduating college, holidays, and moving twice! That is a lot of bonding!
So here is to the last year, and to many more with my furry friend! We love you Tonks, you will always have a forever home with us!
Many of you know I have started working for the university I graduated from a few months back! Along with this amazing job I have been given the opportunity to get a masters degree while working there!
This has been such an amazing opportunity I clearly wasn’t ready to say goodbye to the inner student living inside of me!

I want to thank you all for the overwhelming amount of E-mails I received after my last post! They were all filled with kindness and love; I really have missed you all!!
Today I am writing to you all because of one email I got in particular! I received a very emotional and heartfelt letter from a high school sophomore.
She told me that she has always been struggling with her weight but has always considered herself to be beautiful! Until high school when people began to pick on her because of her size. She goes on to tell me that these girls have not only been embarrassing her but also have started to change how she sees herself and views her own body.
While reading this Email, I was almost in tears; no one should feel this way about themselves, and when these feelings are caused by the cruelty and ignorance of others, it is just so sad and it breaks my heart!
Now I can say that you shouldn’t listen to the cruel words of others, and only you can define how you feel about yourself, but in reality, this is almost impossible to do! Our peers play such a big part in our everyday life that it is so hard to ignore their opinions.
The best advice I can give someone in this position is to be strong, understand that you are beautiful and understand that there is a cruelty in this world that is not fair. Be the bigger person and don’t forget to put yourself first! Love yourself, know your worth and beauty, and truly love yourselves!
Love you all,
I must apologize for my extended absence! I must say I have been a very busy girl, most recently I have started grad school!
I was offered a full assistantship! Allowing me to go to school as well as get a great experience of working as a Teaching Assistant, enabling me to teach classes, and do some real world hands on research!
I just finished my first week, and so far I have no complaints, it is so nice being back to school.
Me and Tyler also through a celebration of our marriage, a second reception! As many of you know our wedding ceremony was planned ver quickly and even though it was fantastic it was very nice to have a bigger party that all our friends and family could attend!
It’s been a crazy and fun summer!
I am hoping to get back to you all more regularly; I am going to make an honest effort! I miss all of my web friends! Let me know if there is anything you want me to touch upon in the next few days!
Talk to you all soon!
Lots of love,
I hope you are enjoying your Monday! As many of you know from past posts or my Instagram, I love tea. In fact, I rely on tea. Every morning I get up to make myself a nice warm cup and start preparing for my day.
Since I start my day with a cup of tea every single day sometimes it can get a little repetitive, so I always look for fun new teas to help keep things fresh.
I wanted to share with you one of the coolest teas I have come across! It’s by a company called The TeaBook. The TeaBook makes special teas based on authors, books, politicians, philosophers, really anything or anyone! They call them Collect Teables because they will for a limited run making them collectable!
This morning I woke up to a warm cup of Agatha ChrisTea. It is an Earl Grey that was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed every sip! I am looking forward to waking up tomorrow to a cup of Shakespearmint Tea. How adorable are these names!
You can subscribe to The TeaBook and receive new flavors of tea each month! I am so very excited to see what next month will bring. They have adorable artwork done by different artists. The teas are organic and kosher certified.
If you love tea as much as I do or know someone who does you should check out #CollectTeables! The Link to their website is below! The company is a Kickstarter so I will also link that below as well To you can purchase the TeaBook through the kickstarter page!
Love you all,
Well I leave for Disney World in just 1 week! I am so excited to be spending one week of stress-free living with my husband and I am also excited to be sharing the magic with all of you!
We are just about all packed up and ready for this magical adventure, so I thought I would share some of the exciting details with you!
First because we are poor newlyweds we will be staying at one of Disney’s value resorts to save money. We will be enjoying the parks from Monday to Friday, because we have to leave first thing Saturday morning!
We decided to do the deluxe dining plan so that we can enjoy as many of the delicious restaurants as we possibly can. I have made reservations for:
- Coral Reef
- La Hacienda de San Angel
- Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe
- Yak & Yeti
- Tony’s Town Square
- Donald’s Dining Safari Breakfast at Tusker House
- Chef Mickey’s Fun Time Buffet Breakfast at Chef Mickey’s
- 50’s Prime Time Cafe
- Be Our Guest
- ‘Ohana’s Best Friends Breakfast Featuring Lilo and Stitch
- Liberty Tree Tavern
- Character Dinner at The Crystal Palace
I am beyond excited to experience a Magical Disney Vacation! I am even more excited to be sharing my experience with all of you! I promise to keep you updated and post plenty of photos over on my Instagram! (@inspiringthegirls)
At some point this week I will be sharing what I will be taking with me, as well as, the things me and my husband are most excited for!
Love you all,
I promised I would update you on my weekend trip!
My husband took me back to Connecticut! This is were we had our honeymoon! We went to a comedy show last night and spent today shopping!
He is so kind and romantic I feel blessed to have a husband like him!
I will post tomorrow when I have more time!
Love you all ❤
So today I want to write to you all about embracing what life has in store for and just going with the flow! I must admit this has always been a struggle for me I love planning!! I plan everything even a movie night at home…its planned!
But if my husband has taught me anything it’s that you can’t take life to seriously! If you are so wrapped up in planning everything then you will miss the adventure and end up disappointed!
I think that I am getting better at unwinding and just letting things happen. Since I’ve been doing this I’ve been able to just enjoy life so much more! I love when friends just show up at my door or a surprise road trip to where ever we decide to go!
This weekend my husband surprised me with a Valentine weekend trip! And I couldn’t be more excited! We are in the car now driving, I won’t know where we end up until we get there but I’m enjoying the ride!
I will keep you updated on my weekend! Follow my Twitter for updates! @inspirethegirl
Love you all ❤
P.S… I have not been kidnapped!
Hello all of my favorite readers,
Happy Thursday. Today I spent the day surrounded by children! It was an exhausting day but who could complain about playing hide and seek all day and watching cartoons. But really, spending the day with kids makes you realize how amazing a child’s mind really is.
In a child’s mind the only thing that matters is laughing, playing, and just enjoying life! They don’t think twice about what come out of their mouths they just say it, They don’t worry about the time or if they have to do anything productive in a day. All they care about is fun! A child can love anyone they may just meet you but within 20 minutes you’re already best friends! A child’s life is so innocent and light-hearted that they have no worries.
Doesn’t this type of life sound nice! Well, I understand that once we grow up we need to accept responsibilities, become productive members of society, and live by a schedule that has more then nap time and play time in it. But I dare you all on your next free day to live like a child. I dare you all to go out play a game of hide and seek or tag with your friends. Schedule a good mid-day nap after a big plate of chocolate chip cookies. I want you all to live one day without thinking, just running around worrying about what fun thing you will do next.
So get out there! Host a tea party! Have a water balloon fight! and Go fly a Kite! We all deserve a day filled with nothing but fun!
Love you all
