Hello Everyone,

Today Emma had her 6 month check-up!

One of my biggest concerns was that she has not yet rolled over. She loves tummy time and she loves to stand but she hasn’t rolled. I brought this concern to our doctor who put Emma on her tummy and bam! Emma rolled over for the first time. At this point, it became a game for her and she rolled two more times during her appointment. Laughing every time of course!

The doctor checked Emma’s ability to sit on her own and said to keep practicing with her because she thought it would only take a few more days before the could do it completely independently.

We got home tonight and practiced both rolling and sitting so Tyler could see. Then Emma started to sit up on her own so easily! She was completely independent and was just sitting steady, looking around and smiling!

Today was a huge day for us! I know every parent loves these milestones but with Emma being a preemie and still hitting these milestones with in a typical time frame is amazing and shows me how healthy she truly is!

I feel truly blessed for my little miracle baby and I am beyond proud of all that she has already accomplished!

I am a very proud mom!
