Hey Guys

I wanted to write to all of you today about family.

My Uncle has recently passed away and losing people you love really makes you think about how important family is. We hug them when we see them and end our calls with a “love yah” but these things have become such a natural and common thing it makes me wonder how we should really show our love for our family.

I am one of the guiltiest people when it comes to getting tied up in my own life and I am not the best at balancing my schedule. So I thought from know on I will not let life pass me by whether it be my own or a loved ones. I will visit, call, write, or what ever else I can do to let them know I love them.

So go hug your family right now tell them you love them and just how much they mean to you!

I love you all

Michelle xoxo

  1. I’m sorry for your family’s loss. I hope you find the strength to deal with your grief.

You make a great point. I constantly tell my family and friends how much I love them and appreciate them. That way, if I don’t get to say goodbye, they will know.

    • Thank you So much!
I hope that others will realize that to, life is fragile and just sharing your positive feelings and love with friends and family makes such a difference! Thank you so much for the help, advice, and support it really helped and made a positive difference in my night!
      Thank you again!

      • You are very welcome. Thank you for having the courage to share your story.

Life moves so quickly that I think sometimes people lose track of time and get stuck in mundane things. They lose focus on the important things like wonderful people in their lives. They are hard to find.

I take it you were close with him?

  2. That is very true it moves so quickly that it is hard to stay focused on the important things like you said.
I was very close to him he was like a second father to my dad so I looked at him like a grandfather. Although I know he knew I loved him it makes you rethink all of the times I could have picked up the phone to chat. I find it ironic and sad that regret is the first thing that crosses your mind in these situations like not calling him more often, after that you can start remembering the good things, that’s why I think its so important to make it a priority to focus on the communication of feelings with all my friends and family now. It leaves you with more time to focus on the happy rather then the sad.
