Come on ladies (new Facebook challenge)

Hello everyone,

For my second post today I will be talking to you all about the new Facebook challenge!

It’s a challenge calling out all you ladies to share a photo of the man who makes you feel loved and special!

It is a great reminder that we need to take time to show those we love how much they mean to us!

I hope all you ladies who have a special man take the time to dedicate this post to them!

All you have to do is copy and paste the message I will include bellow into your Facebook message along with a photo of that special guy! Let me know if you participate!

Love you all,

Michelle

Come on ladies, the challenge is on! If you have a man in your life who helps bring balance to your world, who isn’t perfect but he’s perfect for you, who works hard and would do anything for you, who makes you laugh but drives you crazy, who is your best friend and sometimes your only friend, who you want to grow old with, who you are thankful for and truly adore, let him have a moment and put this as your status. ❤️(Copy&paste this status and add a picture!)

Internet or Reality

Hello Everyone,
We are halfway through another week!

Today I want to talk to you all about internet safety!

It’s hard to know the extent of the internet when you are sitting alone in a room with a computer but the reality is that you are never alone on the Internet!

Being a blogger internet safety is something I take really seriously! I am a very trusting person and I love all of my new friends I’ve met through being a blogger! But it is important to make sure you know exactly who you are talking too, and sometimes that’s impossible!

Online dating has become one of the most common ways to meet people now a days but make sure you take proper precautions before meeting these people.

Social media can be fun but make sure you are safe about it! Whatever you post can come back to bite you one day! Think before you post!

One important thing to remember when playing around on the internet is cyber bullying! It’s a huge problem and can do real damage! Cyber bullying is just like regular bullying, people feelings get hurt regardless of it being typed out or spoken!

No one wants to be bullied! There are mean people who prey on others for reasons I will never understand!

Please use the internet wisely! I want you all to be safe and be kind!

Love you all,

Michelle

Have Courage And Be Kind

Hello Everyone!
Happy Tuesday!
Today I want to talk to you about the recipe for a fufilling life!
Courage and Kindness!
Yesterday, I was watching the new Cinderella movie and at the tear-jerking scene when her mother dies telling Ella that she must remember to have courage and be kind!

This got me thinking about how true this actually is!
Kindness: To me is one of the most important characteristics a person can have! You must treat others with kindness, since we are all put on this planet together life gets hard on its own and we never truly know what others are going through! You may never know how much a kind smile or act can mean to another person!
Courage: We all need a little bit of courage! We need to not fear the world and taking chances! So many people fear taking chances and following dreams. If you live in fear of these things you will never experience life the way it’s meant to be experienced! People need adventure and change! Our lives can’t be a constant or we’ll get bored and no one wants a life of boredom!

I love you all and hope that you realize that kindness and courage are important to live a life full of happiness

Love you all,

Michelle

All The Little Things

Hello Everyone,
Happy Monday!
Today I want to talk to you about being thankful and recognizing the little things in life!
Everyone has little things that they are lucky to have. Whether this be a person, a pet, a belonging, or even just a memory!
We recognize these things when negativity comes into our lives. When we need comfort we will run to that person, seek comfort in your pet, seek out that special belonging, or remember a fond memory.
Even though these things may be the best when negativity strikes we should remember them and be thankful for having them each and everyday!
If these things can heal us when things get tough just think of their power during good times!
For me family is what I am most thankful for! Each and everyday I am lucky to have such amazing people surround me with their love!
Love you All,
Michelle

Mrs. Optimistic

Hello Everyone!

Today I want to talk to you all about staying optimistic!
As you all now I am a self proclaimed optimist! I try to stay positive and look on the bright side of everything!
I personally believe this is a great quality because it allows me to keep cool and keep smiling!
Today my husband and I are celebrating an early Easter because it is another holiday he has to work! As a newlywed all I want to do is spend the holidays with my husband but I know we have bills to pay and responsibility!
I look at the bright side and think about how lucky we are for our health and our love! So we celebrate Easter the day before! I am still a very lucky woman!
Love,
Mr & Mrs Trites and Mr & Mrs Bunny

A Day With Nana & Bepee

Hello Everyone!
Happy Friday!
Today I want to talk to you about people! As an anthropologist I have always been so fascinated with people in general. I must admit I am a chronic people watcher, I guess I struggle to turn off my anthropolgy training!
Today Tyler and I went down to visit his grandfather who is at a rehab! We spent the day with Nana and Bebee  and trust me there is a lot to learn from them!
Nana told me all about growing up in a family of 5 with her parents and two sisters! She was the middle daughter. The family didn’t have a car until after she got married so she walked everywhere!
She worked at a paint company before running an after school childcare company!
Spending the day with these two has opened my eyes to what the world was like when they grew up!
You can learn so much from listening to people and learning about their lives. Grandparents offer us our legacy to be embraced and collected. Take the time to learn about your legacy before they are not there to share it with you! Everyone has a different story to tell, just remember to listen, you will be amazed what you can learn!
Love you all
Michelle

“Adulting”

Hello everyone!
Today I want to talk to you about the struggle of adulting!

For all of you who don’t know what adulting is it’s a term used to talk about doing adult activities like paying rent, doing your taxes, going to work, etc.

As a newlywed there is a lot of new adulting I have to get used to! For one I need to find a job!

I’ve been searching everywhere for a job but being a post grad is not easy!

Working is just one of those things you have to do…adulting! One day you wake up and realize it’s time to try to be an adult!

My only advice for all of you getting ready to graduate and “adult” would be to keep your head up and keep on trying. You will face rejection

but eventually the right position will come along and adulting will get easier!….. I HOPE!
Love you all,

Michelle

National Puppy Day

Hello Everyone!
Happy Wednesday! Today I want to talk to you about puppies!

Since today is National Puppy Day sounded like the perfect opportunity to talk about the cutest of all beings!

Yes it’s true that I am obsessed with my cat but my family also has a beautiful bull dog named Bella!

We rescued her a few years back and she has become a huge part of our family since then!

I hope that if any of you are looking for a dog you look into rescuing!

These animals have been through so much and deserve nothing more then a loving home and caring family!

It really is true… sometimes you don’t know if you rescued them or they rescued you!

So here’s to you Bella even though your a crazy lady you will always be our pup!

Love you all,

Michelle
